There is NO better therapy than time out with girlfriends! This past Saturday we had a girl's day out to celebrate the coming arrival of our girlfriend Alyson's new little one who will be here very soon (Apr 11th). She really didn't want a baby shower but decided pedicures would be perfect and we all whole heartedly agreed. The six of us lined the chairs at the nail salon and had a lot of fun being pampered. Afterwards we headed to Golden Spoon for some yum-O frozen yogurt and it was free day at the Spoon so it made it that much sweeter. Free yogurt, fancy toes and good laughs with good friends, does it get much better?

Our cute feet!

Please note the diet coke addicts with our big ol' cups.
Thanks Alyson for the super fun "shower" and thanks Alan for watching the boys so I could have some Mommy R&R time.

Easter Dresses
Every year I joke that I buy the boy's Easter dresses since I don't have little girls to buy cute frilly dresses for. The boys would not cooperate for pictures at all. Oh well, they still look pretty darn cute to me in their "dresses".

The Perfect Shirt
I found the perfect shirt for Carson today at Old Navy. I couldn't resist it! I just had to buy it!
See for yourself...

Spring Break Recap
Monday (St. Patrick's Day)
A pesky little Leprechan colored our apple juice green. Cole was impressed that it still tasted the same.
Tuesday night was the Matchbox 20 concert (I finally got to cash in my Christmas gift). Alan and I had a great time although we decided we are getting a little old for late night outtings, how sad for us. It was the last night of the concert tour so all of the bands were in rare (and silly) form. It was quite entertaining. They are such an amazing band! Love them! (Thanks Alan! and thanks GG! for watching my boys so we could go out).
Wednesday was Springs Preserve day. We have wanted to visit this place since it opened last spring and we were not disappointed. There was so much to see and do and learn. Cole's favorite's were the train display and the flash flood room. Carson had a ball taking it all in and being able to run around and play. We can't wait to go back and take Daddy with us.

Friday Cole woke up excited because Yellow Grandma, Red Pappa and Aunt Angie were coming that day. We busied ourselves with preparations (changing sheets, vacuuming, etc) and waited for their arrival. Cole was so antsy with excitement.
We had a fun time with Alan's parents and sister. We went to dinner at Island's that night (yum) played in the park on Saturday and us girls got pedicures (thank you Susan!) Sunday was Easter and that's a whole 'nother post in itself.

Boy On The Go
This week Carson has started walking! He has been attempting this feat for a month now but this past week he really took off. I took some video of his early attempts while he was still clumsy and staggering. Now he's a pro! Enjoy...

A Cole Funny (or 2)
When I pick Cole up from school the routine is that I ask him how his day was and what he learned about. The conversation today went something like this:

Family Pics
My dear sweet Grandpa has been fighting cancer now for alittle over a year and we know that our days with him are getting fewer. He has always been such a strong, courageous hero and continues to be in this leg of his life's journey. We all love and admire Grandpa! This past weekend my whole family (my Mom, all of my siblings, spouses and kids) traveled to St. George to visit with him, take family photos and enjoy eachother's company.
I still have a ton of photos to go thru' but thought I'd better get a few posted so my family can see them, (and since it's my blog they are mostly of my fam, lol). I'm sure these will be priceless treasures in years to come.
My Family!
All of the Richards Grand Daughters!
My Boys and their Great-Grandpa!
All of the Great-Grandkids!
P.S.- Mom, Steph, Gretch and Michelle: I have some GREAT ones of you guys too. I will make copies for everyone!
